Cerebrovascular disease
No statistically significant difference with regard to the incidence of cerebrovascular di-sease was observed between Group 1 and 2 at diagnosis, after neurosurgery, and during follow-up (p = 0.12). In Group 1, one out of 76 patients suffered cerebrovascular disease before surgery and 13 patients between surgery and final follow-up. In Group 2, three out of 28 patients suffered cerebrovascular disease before surgery and four patients between first neurosurgery and final follow-up. Furthermore, no association was found between the type of surgery and cerebrovascular disease (p = 0.61).
